Like many of my fellow millennials, for good or bad, I was brought up with a TV set as one of my caregivers.

​

Movies were my go-to place. Little did I know that years later, while struggling over my accounting courses in college, I would realize that I should be doing something I love. With that intention clear and the help of my family, I pressed the play button for this journey, and reroute my direction.

 

Soon I was working, honing professional skills while still attending to my mass media courses in the university. I was learning editing, camera work, audio, animation, writing and producing outside of my academic life. And I consider that I am still learning as this field is still moving and transforming.

 

Over the spam of my professional career I have been able to work in different areas and formats of the audio-visual world. In my first ten years of career I worked in TV series, soap operas, TV ads, documentaries, corporate videos, game shows, films and short films.

 

In parallel, the modern internet was happening and developing. I was growing frustrated over how restraining the cannon of traditional media was and while living in the 2010's Venezuela how much control the government and the media executives had in what it could or couldn't be done.

It was then when I decided to focus my career in generating content for internet as a way of developing a new communication language where brands and original content creators could live outside the constrains of traditional media.

​

And here I am, after more than 20 years of following my passion and being able to reflect on myself, tracking the pace of a dynamic media that keeps evolving and making me evolve.
